New battery - NFC stopped working

I replaced my FP5 battery as it had begun draining fast. Since then, with the new battery NFC functions (e..g google pay) have stopped working, I understand the NFC antenna is attached to the battery - so I’m wondering if either this is faulty on my new battery, or perhaps there is some kind of initialisation I need to do.

I have tried Fairphone support but have been waiting weeks for a response now. Anyone got any pointers, please?

Hi, I purchased a new battery and have been using it when travelling. Haven’t noticed any issues with NFC. And I didn’t initialise it in any way.

I was to suggest the internal testing for NFC but it somehow fails on my phone, so not sure whether that is the way to go
