Most apps do not respond to tilting

Strangely, the Camera app still responds to tilting. The icons update correctly. Also, I can see the accelerometer measurements update using a sensor measurement app.

Here is a list of apps that I know used to respond to tilt, but now do not: Trello, homescreen of ADW Launcher, Wifi Analyzer, Scrambled Net, Gallery.

It’s possible that I started seeing the problem around the 1.8.5 update, but I am not sure. I first noticed the problem show up in the Scrambled Net game. I’m running FP1, Android 4.2.2 on the Kola Nut 1.8.5 update.

Is anyone having a similar issue, or does anyone have any ideas for troubleshooting? Thanks!

Sounds strange but let’s first check the obvious: If you go to settings > display, is “Auto-rotate screen” ticked?

There are indeed some apps that don’t respect this setting, hence the confusion. @heyandy889 just reactivate auto-rotation and you should be fine.
