Missing apps when migrating to FP5

I got an FP5 for Christmas, which I am currently loading with useful software. However, I did not find certain certain apps any more. Anybody can help? I prefer OSS from the FDroid store.

  1. Autorum manager has disappeared. Is there a good replacement?

  2. RFO Basic! has disappeared. Is there a replacement that does not force me to rewrite my old programs?

  3. Jota Text editor has disappeared from FDroid. Is there a good replacement?

  4. LTE cleaner has disappered, although it was the only cleaner respecting privacy. Is there a good replacement?

  5. Paper Camera has disappeared from the Play Store. Is there a good replacement?

  6. I want to get rid of Adobe PDF Reader. Is there a good alternative in FDroid?

  7. I want an app able to scan a multi-page document as PDF. What is the best one available on FDroid?

  8. For good reasons, CamCard has disappeared. Is there a good alternative in FDroid?

Are you sure you added all repositories on F-Droid you had previously? I dont know any of those Apps so no idea what they can. For PDFs I use PDFViewerPlus from Iode repository

  1. KOReader, in my opinion, is the most powerful PDF viewer for Android and other platforms.

  2. Sometimes I scan paper books. In 2021, I didn’t find any good open source applications for this purpose (I don’t rule out that some have appeared since then). I really liked the functionality and convenience of the free app vFlat and have been using it ever since. For example, the book “Breaking Hearts” I scanned using this application.

I always try to reduce the amount of apps on my phone and try to find apps which can do more than one trick instead…

In regard to viewing PDFs, for most people using Firefox or Chrome for viewing PDFs is already quite sufficient. Apart from that MuPDF (F-Droid) comes to mind as another alternative.

Also could you add briefly what those apps do you listed. This makes recommending alternatives easier.
