I can recieve MMS if the other user also uses RCS but regular MMS is still a no go.

I got a response from Fairphone support. It’s fairly disappointing. Basically because my phone works with an esim from another netowork, it’s not a phone issue, and they recommend switching provider. I understand their response, but it’s really a bummer I guess if my provider isn’t responsive, there’s little I or Fairphone can do. It is quite strange that there is no operator in Sweden for FP6 listed.
I don’t understand what is going on with operators here. Hallon has been working fine, but I cannot tell others.

Interestingly support told me they have good experiences with 3, and that going with swedish/norweigian providers also seemed to work better.
