Is it possible to do internet connexion sharing with the Fp3?

Hi!
Can you tell if it’s possible to do internet connexion sharing with the Fp3?
Currently I have an iPhone and I share connexion by USB or by WiFi to have internet on my laptop. I would like to know if i would be able to do it with a fairphone3 :slight_smile:)

“Tethering” or “Hotspot” should be the words to look out for on your FP3. I cannot tell you exact instructions, but just to mention, it’s even possible with my old FP1 :wink:

Go to Settings,
Go to Network & Internet
Go to Hotspot & tethering
Tap on Wi-Fi hotspot
if you tap on Hotspot password you can see the password and if you want change it.

On my FP3 hotspot is working.

Can confirm WLAN sharing works, as I have used it Thursday 26 November. Have not (yet) tried USB-C, nor tried ethernet over USB-C.

For USB tethering you likely need to install a driver, as that was also the case when using Mac OS with a Fairphone 2. I think the driver in question is a USB CDC driver, but I am not entirely sure.
