Installation of CalyxOS fails: bootloader unlocking problem, but it IS unlocked?!

Hello!
I’ve run into a strange problem:
I installed CalyxOS on my FairPhone 5 using their device flasher (on Linux Mint).
Unlocking the bootloader, installing, re-locking the bootloader, everything worked FINE.
Then I re-installed FairphoneOS again, this time leaving the bootloader unlocked (just forgot to).
Now I’m trying to install CalyxOS again, but the device flasher keeps insisting that the bootloader is locked. It prompts me to please unlock it, but it already is.
device flasher tries to unlock several times, then throws an error.
Please don’t ask WHY I jumped back and forth between CalyxOS and FairphoneOS, i just seem to change my mind a lot.
I’ve tried to lock the bootloader again, btw. It gives me another error, saying that the device is already locked. But in fastboot mode, the phone says DEVICE STATE - unlocked.

I assume you posted the same on the Calyx Matrix channel, so here again: lock/unlock critical is not locking/unlocking the bootloader… Thats fastboot flashing unlock
