I just fell flat on my face and dropped my phone and now I can’t log into it as only one third of the screen is working. I opened the whole thing and restarted, but it didn’t help. What to do?

I now tried to remove the display, but it doesn’t come off.
I came to the step where you should push it with a paperclip, but it doesn’t come off.
Now I could finally remove the broken display by pushing the paperclip through all the screwholes, but it didn’t help, only the furthest left side of the display works so I can’t use my pin number to open the phone.
Sounds like you’ll have to order a replacement screen. It’ll take a few days, but now you’re already familiar with how to change that.
Perhaps you are lucky and is there a Fairphone Angel in your neighbourhood who has a display so that you can test if replacement of the display is the solution.
