Year ago I bought my wife Fairphone 6. She kinda likes it with some major flaws, but the most persistent one is regarding her smartwatch.
My wife wanted to pair Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 and gather data from the device. It worked effortlessly on previous phone (Xiaomi Mi A3).
This year my wife bought next generation (Samsung Galaxy Fit 3) and it also worked effortlessly on her previous phone, since we had to send the FP6 due to warranty claim (for the record, it was shutting itself off after 5-8 seconds after trying to turn it on).
Technically Google Fit should recieve the data from Samsung Health using Health Connect. Google Fit on Fairphone 6 only recieve the sleep data - no steps, no workout data.
After my wife got the new device after warranty claim the problem is still there - so it’s not a previous device problem. It’s something wrong with FP6 itself.
That’s why I’m writing on forum to figure it out, since it’s over a year now and my wife is very persistent to get it solved.
Any ideas what can I do about it?

just to double check, your wife’s device is running the standard googled stock Android? not e/OS?

Thanks for clarifying (though technically e/OS is also Android I believe the device is running FP OS).
I don’t have any experience with Samsungs wearables so I will just ask one more clarifying question and most likely leave the floor for other users.
I imagined Health Connect to gather data from different apps, not collecting it on its own.
Have you had any dedicated Samsung Health app installed on any of the previous devices? and FP6?
I asked few questions to my wife to clarify how this actually works.
Here how it looks:
Health Connect gathers the data. Samsung Health and Google Fit should show all the gathered data. They aren’t - only showing sleep data. You may ask - why do she has two apps for the same thing?
My wife use Fitatu, an app for counting calories etc. In the free version on Fitatu you can connect to Google Fit. Connection to Samsung Health is a premium paid feature. Hence the Google Fit.
The problem is that Health Connect on FP6 don’t gather full data from the Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 and Samsung Galaxy Fit 3. It only gathers sleep data and passes it to Samsung Health and Google Fit.
On Xiaomi Mi A3 Health Connect correctly gathers all the data from Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 and Samsung Galaxy Fit 3, which are all available both at the Samsung Health and Google Fit.
I have exactly the same problem on my FP6, using Google Health. It writes only steps to Health Connect, no workouts.
Not sure if it’s a phone problem or an apps sync problem…Google recently updated FitBit to Google Health, since that update the sync is not working anymore, this is my impression.
I looked into what you proivided and from the solution in the third link you provided all of the permissions are already granted for every app. So it still doesn’t work.
