Getting a FP4 battery to South Korea

Hi,

I’m a Fairphone 4 user that is spending a year overseas, and my battery is slowly but surely getting weaker after 2+ years of using my FP, so I will likely be in need of a new battery before I return home. The official Fairphone shop only ships to Europe, and the only option they list for worldwide shipping is Vireo, where the FP4 battery is currently sold out. They also mention that lithium ion batteries cannot easily be shipped via post, even if I were to have a friend buy one for me in Europe and then try to ship it to me, since they’re classified as dangerous goods.

Has anyone else had this shipping problem and found a way to solve it? Are there any other resellers I might have missed?

Buying fairphone itself or its accessories are quite difficult for those who lives outside the Europe.

Apart from Vireo, I found another Fairphone reseller shipping globe-wide, clove uk.
They have plenty of accessories in store.

However, when I browsed it yesterday, there is no battery on the shelf.
Perhaps they would sell it again once acquired some (probably…).

Hello, apologies if that’s a long shot.
There is a FP reseller in Taiwan, Palcom, mentioned on the FP website and discussed here on the forum.

It did have FP4 batteries in stock though I can’t find them now. Plus the language barriers stops me from checking anything on shipping

Well, Palcom have terminated most of their business about Fairphone in Taiwan.
They neither sell FF5 nor re-import FF4, only selling components like lens and screen.

Also, it seems that Palcom only provide domestic shipping, so I guess ordering a battery to Korean from Palcom isn’t practical.
