Hi, I have a problem with data roaming costs and no idea what could be wrong, maybe somebody can help me?
I live in Germany close to the French border, so I deactivated data roaming because I don’t want to pay for it when my phone changes to a French provider without me noticing it. Still, I get charged by O2 Germany for data roaming! Recently I went to Austria a few days an I definitely didn’t have a connection to the internet, I even got a notice on my start screen saying that I didn’t, and I got no threema/ whatsapp messages either.
O2 support says that it can’t be the provider, something must be wrong with the phone. Is that true?! And if so, how can I stop it?
Thanks for your help, I’m so annoyed about paying roaming charges all the time!

ich habe ein Problem mit Datenroaming und keine Ahnung, woran es liegt, wer kann mir helfen?
Ich wohne an der französischen Grenze und habe daher Datenroaming deaktiviert, damit mein FP2 sich nicht unbemerkt im französischen Netz ins Internet einwählt. Trotzdem habe ich regelmäßig Roaminggebühren auf der Handyrechnung! Neulich war ich für ein paar Tage in Österreich und habe sogar eine Meldung auf dem Display bekommen, dass keine Datenverbindung besteht, und auch keine Threema- oder Whatsapp-Nachrichten empfangen.
Trotzdem habe ich wieder Roaming-Gebühren!
O2 sagt, dass es am Handy liegen muss, nicht am Netz, stimmt das oder wollen die sich nur rausreden? Und wenn es am FP2 liegt, was kann ich tun?
