Frame rate dropping only on videos being recorded

I’m on android version 15. Whenever I record a video with the camera app or any other app with video recording capability the frame rate drops. The video that is recorded also has a low frame rate and looks choppy.

Any other video looks fine. No problems with streaming videos on YouTube for example.

Any idea how to fix this?

I fixed this! In the display settings I upped the refresh rate and it fixed it
