I do have an flat internet-abo, so I do lisent and showing internet-radio and internet-tv. So I do not need an FM or DAB-receiver.
BRING BACK the HDMI over USB-C feature that FP5 has, but not FP6.
That’s what prevented me tu buy a new FP6 for my niece birthday (so I chose used FP5).
Also, this made the FP6 less usable for operating systems like Ubuntu Touch, as wired HDMI over USB-C external monitor is the best option for convergence, and also is STANDARD.
It’d be really nice to have Thunderbolt, or at least USB 3 + DP mode after the fp6 USB downgrade (I’d also love if an upgrade module for that was available for my current Fairphone 6, as its SoC seems to support USB 3)
Also, better water resistance as IP55 is quite low for a modern phone
Faster SDCard support would also be nice, but most other phones seem to also be still stuck at UHS-I
1 TB internal storage required? On a smartphone?! Certainly a niche. I am not interested in paying the current insane prices for RAM and storage. Please, keep it at a minimum price tag.

In other news, smartphone sales are 15% down due to the memory storage.
It kind of also depends on when the AI bubble will pop. When it does, RAM and NAND flash prices should come down a lot. But we can’t know exactly when it will pop. Could be this year, could be next year, could be 2 years.
I highly doubt it’ll last more than 2 more years, despite what the projected/planned demand from AI companies is. The demand for RAM and NAND from these AI companies is based on some hollow assumptions of where the demand for AI will be generally.
I think 1TB is not realistic at current prices. After the AI bubble pops it probably will be.
I’d still kind of like to see at least 512GB as one of the options. It would probably be more realistic to see a 256GB option and a 512GB option.

It wouldn’t exactly be Thunderbolt, it would be USB4, which is compatible with Thunderbolt.
I don’t know if there are smartphone SOC’s that support USB4. That would probably be a few years down the track yet.
