_Maybe a new build
_
Cool! Thanks for the links.
I found another bug: my auto-brightness feature stopped working too with this last update. I’m using LOS 23.2 fully de-googled. Was working before the January update.
To replicate the issue, all I can say is turn on the phone, go to a bright or dim area, and see the brightness not change.
I only use the normal build as well with micro G and it worked out of the Box.
I’m using the “Sparkasse” Banking App whitch I installed via Aurora.
you installed microG from F-droid ?
Have this issue me too
Auto brightness doesnt work since last update
No I installed it via APK from the Internet to use the “RVX App” (Cracked YouTube).
I’ve uploaded a build i made a few days ago which fixes the biometric prompt. I’ve also adjusted some timings to hopefully increase the smoothness (especially with the blurs which are enabled since lineage 23.1), feedback regarding that is appreciated!
I’ve included the vbmeta.img in this release, you still need to flash it manually like this: fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.img before flashing addons, but locking bootloader is still supported. I haven’t decided on how to move forward with this for now. (Though official will not allow unlocking anyway)
Small tip about blur effects and smoothness: you can disable all blur effects by toggling off “Allow window-level blurs” in Developer options. No more frame drops when opening notification / quick settings panel ! And I think it looks better without the blurs anyway ![]()
Hello, thanks a lot for your work!
With the newest release, I can not use NewPipe in fullscreen.
However, after enabling fullscreen, I get locked out.
When I unlock the phone again, I am logged out once more.
After a few attempts, the phone reboots.
Hello, thank you for your hard work. I confirm that the biometric prompt crash has being fixed. The bug, related to the moments switch randomly triggering while in the On, position never went away since I installed LOS, which was version 22 iirc. I see no one reporting it. Am I the only one experiencing it still? In addition to that, with the 17/01 build, every time the switch triggers, the device wakes up, though the display stays extremely dimmed. Another change from 11/01 is that double tapping the locked screen doesn’t put the device to sleep anymore, while double tapping the status bar still works. No changes were made to the settings.
@ArianK16a The option to disable the blur effect seems to have been removed in the newest build… I hope this wasn’t intentional…
Sorry, seems like i forgot to apply the older fix for the fullscreen crash. But we do have a better fix available now, i will build with that soon! That the display pulsates for a short moment is intended and a new feature!
Features like double tap to sleep on lockscreen are all potentially still buggy due to the amount of changes made by google on QPR2 and we’re slowly fixing our additions on top, please be patient or keep using lineage-23.0 for now.
It was not removed, it’s still available in accessibility settings.
Oh you’re right, sorry! I couldn’t find it with search anymore so I got worried. Thanks ![]()
I updated to 23.2 and it’s been pretty smooth, but it seems like dark colors are really washed out and almost yellow/brown now. Is there a way to revert back to 23.1, or do I just need to wait until a newer release?
Can I just use the OTA update when I have MindTheGapps installed, or do I need to flash vbmeta manually again?
I get a little status bubble of that switch when ever I unlock the phone, as if it is reset at that moment. Otherwise it keeps calm.
I have never had a crash (23.2 from 11.01)
I have one bug that I can’t pair new BLE Trackers with Google Find my Device. (the pairing promt never appears) But I can find and ping them when I add them to my account with a different device (running LineageOS 20).
Also a bit annoying, the phone unlocks with fingerprint already when only touching the power button without actually pressing on it. Often when I intentionally want to turn the screen off it unlocks immediately again, same happens often when I just want to move the phone to a different place.
The default camera makes horrible pictures, low resolution and a ton of noise. And the video stabilization is doing the opposite of what it should. Also the macro feature is missing. The Google Camera and Open Camera make both much better pictures.
By the way, did you notice if camera quality is worse on lineage or the same of the stock OS?
I never looked detailed at the images of the stock camera and have wiped everything. (I never considered using stock) But stock had a Macro mode that is missing on the other Cameras.
i hope for an new build ![]()
watch video in halfscreen is :-/
thanks a lot
It’s a bit of a long story, but unrelated to this unofficial build I had to replace my previously successfully flashed FP6 with LOS 23.0
Now there’s a system update that bumped my security patch date to Nov 5 and 23.0 uses oct 1.
Given I won’t be relocking the bootloader is it safe to reflash 23.0 to my new phone? Given the existing bugs I’d like to skip 23.1-2 and wait for 23.3
