You might rather complain at your bank for relying on useless “security” features and switch to a sane bank 
Alternatively just flash magisk and one of the dozen play integrity “fix” modules which allows you to pass the full integrity without a lot of effort. Might as well let your bank know that it’s just a few minutes extra effort for you and even less secure since you have to root your device now 
As someone running rooted LineageOS on the FP5, and planning to do the same on FP6 soon, I can say bypassing play integrity is quite tricky and the methods for bypassing keep changing day by day, so it’s unrealistic to say it’s just a few extra minutes of effort ^^;;

“pass the full integrity without a lot of effort” this doesn’t exist unfortunately, and is at least not reliable over time. I do not want to lose access to the banking app at the first update, I need it to work…
Why not just use the stock Google Android version if you rely on the malware from Google anyway? It seems like a lot of work for nothing to flash an AOSP custom ROM that’s free from Google and then adding all the Googly bits on top of it.
changing your keybox is pretty much the only thing you need to do every few weeks, which pretty precisely takes a few extra minutes, not more (assuming you’re able to find recent keyboxes, there are plenty floating around on telegram). i absolutely don’t recommend that, and i personally just ditched everything relying on play integrity and do online banking via the browser or my desktop.
However, the steps to pass play integrity currently should be these:
* install this play integrity fix and tricky store (dont need any random zygisk, just use regular magisk one), set fingerprint with that, maybe more if you need and then in tricky store select all, deselect unnecessary
* apply valid keybox
Well, you see, you are already outdated, tricky store seems to have been superseded by TEESimulator now
I could never get PlayIntegrityFix to work, probably because of a lack of understanding (would be extremely grateful if you could explain how PlayIntegrityFix and TEESimulator interact with each other and some of the underlying mechanism because the few times I tried to understand it I got frustrated). I had luck recently with IntegrityBox though, seems to work in the background out of the box and has been reliable last 2 months
