I am not sure you understood what we have been trying to do here, so I will try to explain.
If you have any issues with your phone, the proper way would be to contact the company support. They suggest all the users go through the self-repair portal to perform diagnostics and get suggestions. Most likely during the diagnostics you will be asked by the FP Staff to check several functions and connections.
Here this is a community forum where fellow users voluntarily share their assistance and help navigate the issues. We are not the company representatives. We may suggest checking certain scenarios and workarounds based on what you are willing to check and share.
If you do not wish to test any solutions suggested, it is absolutely fine. May I just ask you respect the assistance received by the fellow users volunteering their time and expertise, (and do not repeat what you have already said?*)

I understand what you are trying to do here, and if you donât mind me saying, itâs failing. I will not waste time here any longer. Yvonne can triumph with her âsolutionsâ such as not using my phone anymore. I will very obviously carry on with customer support, which I have contacted since message no. 2, because I do pay attention when I get advice worth reading. Unlike the rest of this sorry, sorry thread.
I think the logic is that, if the problem disappears without the sim and 5G, then the problem is with the network (or certain settings) and not with the phoneâs hardware/software.
Any updates on this? My phone keeps restarting even after the November update. Restarts do happen less often. From rebooting a dozen times a day, to maybe one or none, but it pretty annoying that it reboots every time I cross the boarder into Mexico and back. Also, if I fly to another states it reboots. I hope the team is working on this. I have a FP6 and live in the US.
You live in the US? Me too. Which provider do you use ?
I use GoogleFi and it works well after the Nov updates. It has only rebooted once since the update. My problem is when I change time zone (like flying from west coast to east coast), it takes a while after acquiring a signal for the time to update. If I wanted a faster time update, I have to go to the settings and toggle the âUse Locationâ bubble.
The device is not optimized for the US, so network features like automatic time zone change could indeed take a little longer. Quickly toggling does not seem like a huge issue, though I can understand that is a little frustrating. If you do nothing, does it eventually update or never at all?
Go to Settings > Apps, find âGoogle Play Servicesâ and delete the cache. After that, (I know, I know) restart the device. I went from 'âone or two random restarts a dayâ to an uptime of now exceeding well over 200 hours after that
