Can anybody share experince on Stock Fairphone Android OS with LED Blinker and power Consumption as comparison to my experience on /e/OS still not supporting the feature “Always-on-display”?

Btw: I just opened an issue on gitlab for /e/ - I hope there will be development to get feature parity with Stock FPOS…

I am also suffering from the missing LEDs with my Fairphone 6, while I used to be LED-notified with my Fairphone 3+.

I have enabled AOD but:

  • I do not need to have the time displayed all the time on my phone.
  • I understand it consumes some battery.
  • I’m having an issue when notifications are coming: AOD brightness decreases, making the text of the notification pretty unreadable, and is back to normal after a few seconds. While the expected behavior would be that AOD brightness increases when notifications are coming!

I’ve been trying a few apps to replace the LEDs but couldn’t find a good one unfortunately… :expressionless_face:

Now I’m looking into Sound Profiles apps so that I can have a super discrete notification sound when being in the openspace at work. This kind of apps would allow me to have a “Office” profile, a “Loud” profile, etc. Like I used to have on my Nokia 3310. :smiley:

If anyone has some good options, please share!
