🇫🇷 FP6 murena incompatible whatsapp

Bonjour,

Je me sers d’un FP6 murena depuis un mois environ. Whatsapp fonctionnait bien jusqu’à que je soit déconnecté sans raison. Impossible de me reconnecter sur mon FP6, je tape mon numéro sur la page d’accueil, il recherche et revient au point de départ sans message. Je peux rentrer un autre numéro que le mien, il le trouve et il est possible de s’y connecter. Juste impossible avec mon numéro.

J’ai tenté désinstallation de l’application et réinstallation. Mon FP6 a du mal a réinstaller l’App. Je dois m’y prendre à plusieurs fois. Quand l’App est réinstallée je dois la chercher dans la barre de recherche du téléphone, comme si min FP6 était fâché avec whatsapp.

J’arrive à me connecter sur un autre appareil sur mon compte whatsapp.

I have the same problem (or almost the same). I can’t install Whatsapp at all, since it keeps ‘hanging’ after inserting my phone number, and this process keeps looping whatever I try.

I got help from Whatsapp (an AI bot, annoying and did not help) and Murena (followed all instructions, with the same result).

The reason for buying FP6 was the ending of support for my smoothly running FP3, which I need to keep using now just for the one reason that I do need Whatsapp for some international communications (even though I dislike Meta). Not the situation I was hoping for…

I suppose you’ve tried also after disabling /e/OS advanced privacy (resp. all funcions of it), have you?

Hi Volker,

Thanks for your response. Yes, I have tried all possible solutions offered by all parties, including Murena support. In the end, they know of the problem and wrote me that they are working on solving this problem and a future update of Murena should do the job.

So until that time, I will have to use my dear FP3, with the new FP6 as second device.
