So the reccommendation with a 100% infill with TPU was OK for you?

Yes, definitely.
If you are considering TPU as a material, I would always use 100 as the infill..

I like this project. I was wondering, would the printed material be flexible enough to add a cover so you end up with a bookcase?

You mean a book style case with cover to flip over the screen?
With TPU this is feasible. You print it very thin, 0,3-05mm thickness and its very flexible and can be bent. For the “cover” over the screen I would the recommend a minimum thickness of 1,5mm to be rigid and robust enough.
Details can be slighliy different, depending on the Shore hardness of the material.
Have a look at this picture. Printed with TPU and 0,4mm thickness, it behaves like flexible fabrics.
