After years of running CyanogenMod and Lineage with a small a gapps package as possible (just for contacts and store access), I’m at the point to ditch Google all together.
However, as I picked Proton as replacement I have 1 minor challenge. The contacts you have stored at Proton are only accessable via the email app. How do people without google and a contacts provider that only offers access via email app manage contacts on the phone so you see a contact name when receiving calls?
Do you manually store important contacts on the phone, is there a way to copy from the app (in this case proton mail) to the phone,…
Also, Aurora store allows acces to the google store for the apps without tracking, but is there a way to get the apps you bought as well (without installing gapps)?
