FP4 drowned 4h in fresh water - repairable?

Hi there,

so my fairphone 4 was 4h long in fresh water. Is there a chance, that it can be fixed? I cleaned everything with alcohol (before picture uploaded) and want to exchange the

  1. usb socket
  2. battery and
  3. display.

They are defenitly broken.

Do you think it is worth it and the main board will still be working?

It’s impossible to say. I would suggest you get in contact with a Fairphone Angel in your neighbourhood. Hopefully they have parts for a Fairphone 4 and test your phone before you order spare parts.
