Hello everyone,
I have the same problem described here: FP6 von Android 16 auf e/os 3.7.3 umgestellt - Displaysperre läßt sich nicht einrichten - /e/OS auf Deutsch / /e/OS Benutzer Hilfe - /e/OS community
Although it originates from an /e/OS installation, the root cause is the FP3 stock ROM. So, this forum could be a good place to ask as well.
I received the FP3 as a gift a while ago, but I no longer remember from whom, as I was working as a Fairphone ambassador at the time. The person no longer wanted the FP3. I had installed Lineage OS on it at one point, but without a screen lock.
Now I’d like to set up the FP3 as a backup phone, but unfortunately I can’t set up the screen lock.
I could do that on another spare FP3 but that one does not regonize any SIM, so that spare FP is useless.
I unlocked the bootloader, but it’s locked again.
Otherwise, I have full access to the phone.
Any ideas on what I should do now?
Is “fastboot oem unlock” an option?
I’m on the Android 15 community build.
OEM unlock is available in Developer Options.
Is any of the FRP removal tools recommended?
