My wifes fp2 switches off automatically (no reboot). Sometimes during use, sometimes at night while sleeping, just lying next to the bed. Seems to be no System in this Problem.
It could possibly be a loose battery. Stick some paper onto the battery side opposite to the contacts until the battery sits tight.

Thanks, I thought about that, too. Due to te fact it also happens just while lying on the table, I was not sure. But you are right, this should be the fist step to check.
