FP2 Sound recorder files

I can’t seem to find a way to access recordings I make with the sound recorder app. And I need to access them from the phone. Anyone figured this out?

What exactly does it say in Settings - About phone - Build number?

Sorry, I’ve just spotted this. It says:

FP2-gms-18.02.0 release-keys

A bird doesn’t sing because it has an answer, it sings because it has a song.

Ok, so Android 6.0 (hint: current version is 18.04.1  ).
As of now, I see two options:

  1. The stock sound recorder App seems kind of broken for a while now, how about this alternative …
  1. Fairphone recently announced Fairphone OS will receive an upgrade to Android 7.1 in the summer, there’s a chance that would fix the problem.

In summary of the topics above and elsewhere: Files are stored in the base folder of storage, rather than in the soundrecorder folder. If you need a file manager on the phone, there’s one in Settings > Storage & USB > Explore. Recordings (.amr) can be open in VLC (and probably some other players).
