The bottom module of my FP2 has broken and needs replacing. Anyone in the UK have a replacement would be very appreciated.

Be aware, that cross-border shipment of batteries outside a phone is virtually impossible for individuals .
Hi @annalowenstein Welcome to the forum.
If you want to keep using your FP2 and don’t find a replacement bottom module you could try and get it fixed.
You don’t say what is wrong with it but may like to see topics/posts on options to repair.
@JohnHughes (thanks again) send me two broken bottom Modules some days ago. This one has a defekt µUSB port.
After disassembling I took a picture with a microscope camera and found some solder cracks. Barely to see without magnification. Two cracks at the shield contacts that I am not too worry about, but also one at contact 5. I am sure that was a slack joint. Some serious force must be acted to the Port.
I will try to resolder the joints and hope the bottom module will be able to do its work…
As fairphone angel (in Berlin) I have a lot of support cases with nonfunctional microphones in the bottom modul. A lot of users have minimum the 2nd, often the 3rd bottom module. Mostly easily changed by Fairphone support in warranty.
But there is a lot of waste (I collect old faulty modules and send them back for recycling).
So my questions:
Did anyone successfully repaired the microphone inside the bottom module by soldering a new smd microphone?
What’s the reason for the highly rate of f…
thanks Amou,

The fixes were done either DIY or via a shop
Hi! I also live in the UK. Are you interested in buying a used (6 months) FP3?
I got mine just last March? because my old phone stopped working then after a few months it started working again. I’m currently on holiday but once I go back home in a week’s time I can send you photos of the box, case and phone?
