FP says No SIM card

Hi everybody. Long time posted anything .
My FP now regularly says “no sim card” while there is … I have no network then and I have to restart the phone. Then it works again for a while. Not handy!!

How old is the card? Was it a Nano-SIM originally or cut to this format?

Hi. I have no idea to be honest how old it is. I think it was a nano card but I’m not sure. It functioned fine until a couple of weeks ago. My phone is from '21

Everything works fine until the time, when ist stops working ;).

Did you try to remove the SIM card, swipe the contacts clean and reseat it?

You mean remove the contacts??? That seems quite drastic isn’t it? Then I’ll loose all my contacts???

I’m not sure, what you are talking about, I was talking about the SIM card.
