I had to install the newest update manually because the updater didn’t showed me the update. Now it looks like this:
So the updater thinks that 17.09.3 is newer than 17.10.1.

The statusbar symbol in your screenshot suggests that you don’t have an internet connection via wifi. Without that the updater can’t learn about a new update.
Try to fix your wifi connection, then clean the cache of the updater app and restart it.

but switching to mobile data and clearing the cache helped for the update. thanks.
