FP 6 will not start after charging

2 days ago, I charged my FP6.

I turned it off before charging so the charging would go faster.

I took the charger out at about 60% bcs I went to bed and do not want to charge while sleeping.

The next morning, my FP 6 would not turn on again. Also not with the hard restart (off button + volume).

I took the battery out this morning (took a while to find the right screw driver).

Put it back, no response.

I have read the subjects on this forum, but they mainly complain about the service of FP.

Can somebody give me advice what to do? In terms of repair myself (phone is 12 months old), let it be repaired (will all my data be lost then), buy new battery??

Perhaps there is an Fairphone Angel in your neighbourhood who has a Fairphone 6. Then you can check your battery and your phone.

I had this exact same problem as well. The best solution is to contact Fairphone and send it back for repairs. You’ll likely get a new device. In that case all data will be lost. But luckily by default a lot of things are synced to the Google cloud. So your contacts and pictures should be fine. Unless this cloud sync was disabled.
