Find my device for FP4

I am struggling to get my Fairphone 4 to participate in the Google Find My Device network.

I recently bought some trackers compatible with the Google’s “Find My Device” network, and I’ve been disappointed to discover that Fairphone doesn’t seem to support it (despite in theory every Android device with up-to-date Google Play Services being compatible). that the Find My Device network does work on FP5 with updated Google Play services. This does not seem to be true for FP4. I have installed the newest version of Google Play services (from November 2024), and yet the Google Find My Device settings page still looks like this:

Does anyone know more?

So your issue is that the option for offline device tracking is not there?

Correct, that’s my problem.

Update: Three days ago, I got an email from Google announcing that Find My Device Network will be enabled on my device.
Since today, It is working on my FP4.
