I do own FairPhone 4. I noticed some problems with microphone everytime I answered a phone call.

I initially posted about this issue in the LOS thread on 1/16/2023 (direct link below). One person, who is not in the US, responded that they could not reproduce the problem before @2allseew confirmed it, and there hasn’t been any other discussion in that thread since.

FP doesn’t work well with Verizon in the USA. You are using a phone that is not officially supported in the United States. T-Mobile is your best option. If you are using the stock ROM, it will not work well, either. You will need to use a ROM like Lineage. Many have confirmed that FP works with T-Mobile if you are using Lineage. If you are determined to use Verizon or the stock ROM, you will most likely need to change your phone to a model that is something other than the FP.

Money use is a pain. See if you can focus on other valuables, apologies if that is insensitive but I wouldn’t answer if I didn’t care.

You mean toggling speaker phone on/off? Just do this in the phone app while a call is ongoing. So turn loudspeaker on and off again.

Any chance that a moderator could move this discussion into its own thread? A support question about how to use the speakers on the phone isn’t really an issue pertaining to FP usage in the United States.

I think when the discussion is stopped now there is absolutely no issue to keep it here. The initial issue was discussed here so I dont see why an additional question must be moved.
