I wish they could/would take the Framework-laptop approach so one could upgrade the mainboard/main-module and other modules. This would make sense to me.

Is not about wanting/choosing, a smartphone is not a PC and this upgrade thing is rather Utopia for phones. Also this was mentioned and discussed like a broken record in the forum.

All those topics have been discussed a few times already. Use the search to find more about that. Quick summary: Battery: FP2 had a slight battery update, but staying at the same physical size you cannot expect wonders. Cameras: Nowadays, picture sensors are good enough to basically all enable decent photos. The software is the bigger item here.
