Fairphone in Mandarin

Hi,

I am very interested by the Fairphone. I have one last concern before getting one Fairphone : can I use in Mandarin ? Would it work in Mainland China ?

  • Having the operating system in Mandarin (the menus)
  • Being able to input Mandarin characters with the usual input methods

I can select these languages,

Check if your networks specific match with the Fai phone’s. I think you habe to look for a network (http://maps.mobileworldlive.com/network.php) compatible with the Fairphone’s profile (https://fairphone.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/201319993-What-are-the-exact-frequency-bands-of-the-Fairphone-Will-it-work-everywhere-) in order to get UMTS to work.

It seems like Mandarin is only possible for the system language but not as a keyboard language. Does anybody have any recommendations for apps that might help solve this?? Thanks.
