How much RAM do you use? Desktop PCs do fine with 8GB as well. If it’s fast 8GB I think it should be fine. It’s indeed not taking into account AI for the future. But maybe that has a dedicated accelerator with it’s own RAM in the FP6. Just guessing of course.

What makes you think longevity is not important for Google in the Pixel line ? The Pixel 6 released in 2021 and is still supported and will be for one more year. And it receives monthly security updates every month :roll_eyes:

Nice! I wasn’t 100% yet, because the event doesn’t mention the FP6 yet. Just the launch of a new device and some keynotes from the CEO and Google about AI and security. But the hints are there. Nice to get some more certainty. I’ll share some pics of the event when I’m there (if allowed).

From what I can figure out, the basic shape seems to swing back to my personal preference: Rounded corners, but no rounded edges – like on my trusty Fairphone 3 :slight_smile: Having said that, I still hope I can stick with the latter for a long time to come.
