Fairphone blue screen. Help

Hi. I’m new with the fairphone (2), I wanted to install Linux OS on it. I learned from FP2 forums it was possible with Ubuntu then I followed the steps from this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7zqxMW4OiA0

It’s pretty clear. The only problem is that after having followed the first steps, my FP2 could never start in recovery mode. Instead, I have a total and quiet worrying blue screen now. And now of course I cannot do anything anymore. It’s just all blue!

Any help would be much appreciated.

What should I do? Does it mean my phone is broken?

The blue screen is known to happen on new Fairphones - changes to the screen module are not compatible with the initial Ubuntu images. The Ubuntu touch topic on this forum mentions that the in the newest OTA this has been fixed, but you may need still need the release candidate version for installation - I’m not sure. You may want to ask in that topic.

Also, the video you link to appears to be a ripp-off of another, older video. I’m not sure how up to date it is, despite the recent date.
