Fairphone 6 : wipe cache partition

Hello ,

ist there a way to wipe the cache partition on the fp6?

Thank You for reading and every help.

Stephan

yes, boot the device in recovery mode

Boot Modes

Recovery

With the device powered off - hold Volume Down + Power, then select “Recovery mode” using Volume keys.

choose “factory reset” → “wipe cache partition”

Sorry, not on my FP6 - I only have ‘Wipe data / factory reset’ with the sub-item ‘Factory data reset’, which as far as I know deletes everything.

Or am I doing something wrong? (Volume up + Power on / volume down + recovery mode)
NOTE: Bootloader is locked

That’s exactly what I found on my phone. I was wondering if I did something wrong and therefore didn’t yet answer. Thank You for this post.

Pretty sure the option @piero-e mentioned does not exist in the FP recovery.

Not exactly the same but consider cache cleaner app on fdroid. I use it to clear the cache of all installed apps after a system update. Works well.
