Stephan
yes, boot the device in recovery mode
Boot Modes
Recovery
With the device powered off - hold Volume Down + Power, then select âRecovery modeâ using Volume keys.
choose âfactory resetâ â âwipe cache partitionâ
Sorry, not on my FP6 - I only have âWipe data / factory resetâ with the sub-item âFactory data resetâ, which as far as I know deletes everything.
Or am I doing something wrong? (Volume up + Power on / volume down + recovery mode)
NOTE: Bootloader is locked
Thatâs exactly what I found on my phone. I was wondering if I did something wrong and therefore didnât yet answer. Thank You for this post.
Pretty sure the option @piero-e mentioned does not exist in the FP recovery.
Not exactly the same but consider cache cleaner app on fdroid. I use it to clear the cache of all installed apps after a system update. Works well.
Thank You for the hint. Iâll try it.
Regards
Stephan
