I have a Murena Fairphone 6 running /e/ OS.
I dropped my phone from a height of around two feet onto a wooden floor today, and it powered off on its own after the fall. The phone was equipped with a screen protector and the official case, and shows no visible external damage. Upon attempting to turn it back on, I saw the Fairphone logo presented on the screen, followed by the Murena /e/ OS logo as usual. However, after that the screen remained black with no activity and the phone appears to be bricked. I have attempted:
- Restarting the phone with the power button (holding down for 30+ seconds)
- Removing the battery and waiting 30 minutes before putting it back in. I ensured that the connector clicked into place properly.
- Plugging the phone into a charging cord and attempting to turn it on
Nothing is working. Iām extremely disappointed that this phone has proven to be so fragile, given that I spent so much money on it. Does anybody know how I can fix this?
