Fairphone 6 Murena app icon placement

On the standard Murena home screen I cannot place the app icons where I want: they always cuddle up to each other, refusing to leave any empty spaces between them.

I can put them in the order I want, but not leave any space. Any solution?

You can only achieve that by installing a different launcher. /e/OS has the Bliss launcher pre-installed, so you might want to try out others.

The Bliss launcher looks inspired by a iOS version from 10 years ago. I would suggest installing a different launcher like ie: Lawnchair
