j’ai téléchargé toutes les applications google nécessaires, y compris Anroid auto, mais Android auto n’apparait sur aucune page du Fairphone et quand je vais dans App Lounge (voir capture d’écran) je n’arrive pas à ouvrir l’application. celle-ci semble être installée mais il ne se passe rien. avez-vous une solution?

I downloaded all the necessary Google apps, including Android Auto, but Android Auto doesn’t show up on any page of the Fairphone, and when I go to App Lounge (see screenshot) I can’t open the app. It seems to be installed but nothing happens. Do you have a solution?

It is the interface between compatible apps and the car. I needed it to get googlemaps up on the car screen. No built in map function till the next level up on my car.

Thanks, but my problem is with the Fairphone, I can’t download the Android Auto app, it won’t open.

Hi Fabgipsy,

The Android Auto App is not an app with a GUI, but more an interface to a car entertainment system that supports Android Auto. So can’t start it, it will be started automatically when the FP ist connected to such an entertainment system. You can find settings for Android Auto inside the system settings of your FP.

In the car I get the message that the usb-connection is not supported.

On Stock FP OS you find it under Settings → Apps → All Apps → Android Auto → Settings inside the app.I don’t know where it is at e/OS

merci mais cela ne répond pas à ma question, l’application apparaît comme téléchargé, ce qui n’est pas le cas puisque on ne peut pas la démarrer, il n’y a pas de bouton sur le téléphone qui apparait pour la démarrer

autre problème: je n’ai pas toujours de sonnerie pour les appels entrants, certaine fois le téléphone émet une sonnerie certaines fois il reste silencieux et il n’y a pas de notification sur l’écranavez-vous déjà rencontrer ce problème?

le message que tu as cité était ma réponse à la question de rwstout concernant les paramètres d’Android Auto. Ma réponse à ta question se trouve plus haut ; je la traduis ici en français:

L’application Android Auto ne dispose pas d’une interface utilisateur propre ; il s’agit plutôt d’une interface destinée à un système de divertissement automobile compatible avec Android Auto. Vous ne pouvez donc pas la lancer manuellement : elle démarre automatiquement lorsque votre FP est connecté à un tel système. Vous trouverez les paramètres d’Android Auto dans les réglages système de votre FP.
