Fairphone 6 and camera photo format

Hello,

I’m an amateur photographer and I’d just like to know if it’s possible to take photos in RAW or DNG format with the FairPhone 6 so that I can edit them in DarkTable or Lightroom.

Welcome to the community forum :slight_smile:

The image formats available depend on which app is used.

Both the stock Camera app (optimised by Fairphone to exploit all the features of the hardware) and OpenCamera that I also use, allow DNG / RAW format.

In the stock Camera app, RAW is only available in “Pro” mode, which you would likely be using anyway.

Thanks so much for the reply and the links. That’s great news, I’ll be able to skip the camera and take photos with my FairPhone in most situations.
