My experience has been dreadful and customer service so shocking I suspect it’s AI.
I returned the fairphone after the power button stopped working to be told that I’d have to pay to fix it because of “oxidation” when the phone has never been near water. This oxidation is unrelated to the power button problem anyway. I’ve complained and been told they aim to reply in 16-18 days, which suggests they must be getting a LOT of complaints. Sadly, I think the company isn’t able to deliver on its promises and the idea of a five year lifespan is plain silly.
