The only option I had to source a new FP4 battery in Australia was to obtain an after market one via Cameron Sino. As we have a couple of FP4 in our household I purchased two but both have behaved in the same way:
- With the FP4 turned off inserted the battery and charged to 100%.
- Turned on my FP4 with no issues until it hit 79% remaining charge.
- Now my FP4 is in a constant boot loop and will not start. Replacing it with my original FP4 battery (albeit only able to get 3~4 hours out of it) at least I can boot up correctly.
I’m getting mixed messages about how to retrain my FP4 to recognise the new battery. Is there anything I should be doing differently?
