Fairbuds app crash on "connect" -Android- (new Fairbuds XL 2025 user)

Hi,

I just bought brand new Fairbuds XL 2025, but the app doesn’t work. It crashes when clic “connect” button.

Fairbuds run as expected itself without app.

I have a Poco X3 Pro (very common phone that works perfect, I’m not going to change it until it stop working).

I tried de app in a Samsung Tablet, and here is working.

I wrote support 27/01, I supose they won’t give me a solution….

Anyone knows some solution to fix it?

what OS are you running on that? Android 13? I am just wondering whether it has any impact on whether your device is still supported. I heard that usually apps function well even on older Android versions.. :thinking:

Yes, I’m with android 13.

All apps I have are working OK, except for fairbuds app.

When an app is not compatible, usually Google Play don’t allow you to install it and say “this app is not compatible with your android version”. This is not the case, I installed it from Play Store.

Fairphone should allow old android versions for their apps, in coherence with their “you keep with your phone” philosophy…
