On my Fairphone 3+ NFC does not work.
I can put in on, but the phone does not operate the public waste bin that opens by holding a NFC device close to it. My public transport card, that has a NFC chip in it, does work.
And when I try to install the payment app from my bank, the app does not finish the installation process, it keeps on running.
Do I have to test the NFC, and how, or is it already clear that the NFC does not work?

You can do some tests by dialing *#*#66#*#* then Service tests > Test Single > NFC . . .
