External speakers issue with FP3+

Hello,

I have a problem with my new FP3 + when I plug it into speakers. I have already returned an FP3 + with the same problem. So I guess this is a known issue.

When I plug my phone into my speakers, there is a crackle. I have tested several other phones but I don’t have this problem. When I plug in headphones I don’t have this problem.
The problem does not occur when I turn down the volume.
I have also tested other speakers and the problem is the same.

I don’t know if it’s a hardware or software issue.

Do you have an idea ?

What do you mean by “a crackle”? How long? How loud? Do you mean a noise doing “scrshhh” when plugging the cable in the plug, or is it a continuous noise? When connecting to a speaker via jack, usb, other…?

Sorry for asking perhaps seemingly stupid questions, but it will help troubleshoot :slight_smile:
