Every non verbal sound gets cut out

Hi,

i have /e/OS in my FP6

My problem is a very agressive noice cancelation that cuts out every non verbal sound like a sigh and sometimes records background noise and while canceling out my voice.

Anyone has experienced similar things?

Does it happen on google android or only /e/OS?

Hi, when are you experiencing these issues? Is this while you’re on a call with someone or when you’re using a voice recording app?

This is interesting as I noticed that it cuts out clapping. I’m a musician and was trying to demonstrate something rhythmic over the phone and it was completely cancelling the claps! This was on a Google Android FP6, by the way, not eOs

What I experienced is a terrible noise gate (the signal is muted below a treshold). This has been discussed previously. But some apps let you use the Raw profile, which is also problematic since it turns off automatic gain control as well.
