The latest version I have is OS17.04.8, and I need to update to OS18.03.1, as I urgently need to send my screen back as it has some defaults. I don’t understand how it’s still at 17.04.8, as I always click UPDATE when it asks me.
I can’t seem to do the update (tried 5 times, that’s enough). When it reboots, it shows the black screen with the yellow robot lying down and “Error”. This means the phone is stuck and I need to take out the battery.
What to do? I am sure trying a 6th time, will not make a difference.
Go to the #dic:developeroptions and tick “keep awake”, then plug the phone in while trying to update again.
If it still doesn’t work try to update manually.
