My ear phone with USB cable doesn’t work on my fp6. I used it always on my old phone (Sony), so there is no problem with the apparatus. Why doesn’t it work on my fairphone?

Please specify what kind of device you want to use with your FP6.
Could you also confirm that you are still on e/OS?
Thank you for your question, Meaghan. I checked and the earbuds are Sony, as is my old phone. Now I tested them on a Samsung and there they also don’t work. So that’s it: Sony only.
On the Samsung I get a message that “the connected device is not supported”. That gives clarity. It would be nice when Fairphone with e/os would give such message as well.

I had the same problem with my FP6 and Murena : it has been solved with the last update to the release 3.2.

Thx Marcall, I updated to 3.2 but the problem remains. I guess the earbuds are designed for Sony only.
