Ok then, Fairphone OS 18.04.1 (Android 6).

Fairphone are currently rolling out an upgrade to Fairphone OS 18.09.2 (Android 7), the Updater App should notify you when it’s coming to your phone.

If you want to be on the safe side, it’s time to think about how to backup or sync your important data, contacts, pictures, etc. to somewhere safe before upgrading.

I found a shortcut to the update to Android 7 by accident. The Updater told me I was up to date on Android 6 as I was awaiting the Android 7 update.

I tapped on the ‘Fairphone OS’ text on the Updater app and noticed a ‘click’ sound. I tapped several times and the phone put me in developer mode and offered the Android 7 update.
