A new phenomena occurred with opening apps in android 13. An app stays on the startscreen and when you want it off, you’ll have to whipe it to the top of the screen were two options are of which one is don’t suggest app. I’d like to know if it is possible to stop/close that system.
Hi,
Just to be sure that we’re talking about the same thing, could you confirm which version of the OS you’re running. Go to Settings > About phone > Build number ; copy that number into your reply.
Could you also confirm that you’re using the standard launcher. Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Home app (the standard app is called Quickstep).
New apps may be automatically added to the home screen the first time you launch them. If you don’t want that to happen, go to Settings > Apps > Default apps >
Then tap the cogged wheel icon next to “Home app” and disable the function “Add app icons to home screen”.
as described here?
