Doesn't Fairphone 6 have any DC dimming?

Hi! I’ve been trying to find a phone with good PWM dimming (or DC dimming) since I’m trying to exclude it as a potential cause for eye pain. I’ve been researching the Fairphone 6 about this.

According to the Fairphone 6 FAQ it should use PWM only below 90 nits, but this video (which seems to come from a knowledgeable guy) says it uses 360 hz PWM dimming at all times above 25 % brightness. Is the FAQ incorrect or is there something else going on here?

Dimming options PWM and DC not available in settings

For DC dimming I got an explanation it switches automatically depending on the brightness level. It uses Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) when the display is below 90 nits and switches to DC dimming when it’s above 90 nits. This happens automatically and isn’t something that can be controlled with a manual setting, hence the missing setting.

Thank you for replying, I’ve read that thread now and it doesn’t quite seem to address the issue since the phone doesn’t actually seem to use the DC dimming feature at any brightness.

Perhaps I should contact Fairphone like you said and ask about this.
