Display Home screen after unlocking

Hello!
I recently bought a Fairphone 6 for my elderly mother, She is able to use the phone, and the face recognition works perfectly to unlock it. However, I would like the home screen to always be displayed immediately after unlocking — without showing the last app or screen she was using.
As it works today, the phone shows the screen where she left off in the previous session, which can be confusing for her.
Could you please help me make the phone as easy to use as possible?
Thank you in advance!

I’m not sure that’s possible.

However you may be able to explain that she should always start by touching the circle bottom center. I’m assuming that you’re using three-button navigation which I expect is easier for beginners.

On the same theme, you may be interested in the Accessibility settings if you haven’t already checked those out.

Hi! Thanks for answering, yes you are correct, we are using three-button navigation. What accessiblity settings could help her?

That will very much depend on the individual, but I would think the Accessibility menu itself would be worth a try.

Have a look round. Turning off animations, text size and other display aspects, having the screen flash for notifications, some of those may help.
